It also wasn't originally from smoke on the water.

Deep Purple lifted a lot of lesser known Jazz riffs in their time. Still kicked ass generally speaking, not so much for Smoke on the Water.

A perfect song from a perfect movie:

BTW, Troll 2 was neither about Trolls or a sequel.

So, the thing I finally noticed (in an empty theatre): Tony is giving Coulson advice about his lady (the Cellist) when he first enters the bridge right after the fight in the forest. Thought that was funny, and kinda neat. Something like "so just take a weekend off, and fly to Portland, and then..." it was really hard to hear, but definitely there. Anyone else catch that?

Yeah, I did.

To be honest, as much as I liked Coulson in each of his appearances across the various movies, he should stay dead. That sort of thing was exactly why I've always been a casual comic fan instead of anything more.

I'm actually surprised. I was more or less going to do the same thing, except I didn't want to go through all the trouble of posting it from my phone this morning. Nicely done.

Royals started the year going 3-2. Then they hit a 12 game slide. Since then they've been 10-6. They're 13-8 outside of that losing streak.

This is the real difference between a good and a bad team. A good team finds a way to win a couple games even when they're in a slump. They'll maybe go 2-8 instead of losing 10 outright.

It's not too late for this team this season by a long shot. We're just 4.5 games back despite that horrible stretch of baseball. All three teams ahead of us in the Central standings have lost their last 2 or 3 games. This is would be the best time to do some catching up.

And that brings me to this point. The rest of this month is brutal. The Royals face Texas twice, Baltimore five times, as well as Cleveland, Arizona, and the Yankees each three times. That's 10 games against division leaders and 13 our the 16 are against above .500 competition. All of them have better records than the Royals.

If the Royals go back into a slide as a result of this, we know they aren't ready to compete this year. If they can play near .500 ball though, this team might have a legitimate shot.
