This was the most fun I've had at the Theatre for a LONG TIME. The characters were all (more or less) given fare time on screen. I would have liked an actual small flashback of the story that Black Widow told of her and Hawkeye but the explanation will suffice. Would almost had made send to give them animated movies that were still in the realm of the Avengers movie universe (I woulda accepted that) to get their backgrounds out there for those that didn't really know about them. But I digress, it was still one hell of a great movie! I was honestly slightly worried when it was more or less known that Loki would be the main villain in Avengers because while I liked him in Thor he didn's seem to be as "wholly" evil as I wanted a villian to be but he pulled it off well in Avengers.
For the minor 2 scenes that we see Pepper Potts, while one was playful it showed that her relationship with Tony was still flourishing since the end of IM2 and the scene near the end showed that Tony did really care for her and wanted her to know he may not come back...which of course he was going to make it though (they are in the process of filming Iron Man 3 or soon to be) And to show that what's her name from Thor was out of the way was enough for me, they were secondary to the whole of this story.
As for the rest of the movie, WOW! I also wondered if it would become the Tony Stark show and was glad that it didn't. Every actor once again played their characters very well and their lines were fantastic. I saw it last night (Saturday May 5th) at 9pm at an Imax and it was a packed house and you could tell there were educated old school fan boys there but also the newbie super hero movie crowd. I laughed at some things that others just didn't get. I LOVED that those type of lines were in the movie, that only if you were a true fan of comics/Avengers/Marvel did you get it. Ruffalo was a fantastic Banner and I would go see a Hulk movie starring him in it. I also think that the Banner/Hulk character stole the show. He had some really good lines as Banner and some of the best scenes as Hulk and that they had Hulk/Thor go at it and then Hulk sucker punch him later on...PERFECT and happily unexpected. Then when Loki stops him to demand Hulk to stop because he is "beneath" him and because he is a God and then to have Hulk go all COMIC BOOK/LOONEY TUNES FASHION BEAT DOWN on him was PERFECT and the "Puny God" comment (that even surrounded by an Imax sound system was hard to hear....makes me sad cause its a great line) was perfect though hard to understand/hear.
I had been reading a few articles that were asking "how will Marvel top the Avengers movie?" becuase it will be the be all end all Super Hero Team up movie. And we all got our answer as soon as those initial credits rolled. THANOS! Comic book newbies, allow me to introduce you to Thanos: An insanely powerful alien who is obsessed with Death. That’s “Death” with a capital-D: Thanos took nihilism to a new level by falling in love with the literal personification of death, usually rendered as an attractive, robed woman with a face that occasionally turns full Skeletor. In the most famous story about the character, “The Infinity Gauntlet,” Thanos got ahold of the most powerful weapon in the galaxy and killed half of all life in the universe. A massive showdown with all the heroes of Earth ensued. Now when I saw Thanos I said to myself. "That's how they will top this movie" So what is in store....maybe Joss Wedon knows? All I know is I can't wait for the next Avengers ride!

from what I've heard the biggest difference in the jerseys is that they listened to what the players wanted in terms of fabrics and comfortability. Bowe is quoted by Josh Looney as saying that he could wear the jersey all day. My only real complaint is the stripes on the socks. I wish it had been all red as well.

Meh! It sounds like for the rest of their FA signings they may become the Denver Colts! I still say with a healthy Chiefs team we kick their ass! Last years injury and coaching bullshit aside, we are ready to control the AFC West Denver/Manning be damned! I will laugh my ass off when it become apparent half way through the season that Manning has picked the WRONG team! Also...if his contract is anywhere near 95 mil/5 years...FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!! very much! It will be funnier if the negotiations "break down"
