It is from a galaxy far far away. And you can WRITE THAT DOWN. Barry used to always say and you can write that down. As a matter of fact at a mini camp where several of us attended (the one where HG forgot the tickets, (which is a whole nother story)) Barry was being interviewed by one of the local news stations they asked him what the Chiefs record would be and he said 10 and 6 which is what he always said we all yelled and YOU CAN WRITE THAT DOWN. That part did not make the news but we got a laugh out of it. There were several of us there. It was a good time.

yeah, that was a blast...would have been better if HG had remembered the damn tickets and we didn't have to scramble to find new ones but hey....is what it is.

You can find a lot of rub recipies online that work pretty well, and you can alter them to taste. Some are hotter than others, some are sweet...I personally do not like the store bought stuff at all...it's just so...generic i guess.

I have tried a couple of different things with mine. I've put a thin coating of olive oil on the meat, and I've also put a thin coating of French's mustard on it as well, and then sprinkle the rub on top of that. The mustard is my favorite so far. Adds a nice crust, and the cooking actually cooks a lot of the mustard flavor out so it's not too overwhelming.
