What a fun game! I'm sure tv got the ratings it wanted. Hope it all looked good on tv. The pre-game hoo-ha felt really weird inside the stadium. Fireworks went off randomly when they weren't supposed to and we couldn't hear anything over the loudspeaker until after the game itself actually started. Kind of funny when Bart Starr came in, he walked a little ways with the crowd cheering madly, then someone took his flag away and sent him back into the tunnel. After a few minutes of a collective "what?", a different person gave him his flag back and motioned for him to walk back onto the field. Of course the crowd cheered even louder, and Mr. Starr just kept smiling. The whole things felt just a little "off".
But once the game started, it felt like any other game. With the made for tv pregame stuff out of the way, we settled in for some serious football.
The Saints, and their fans were great! And, just so you know, Nola, Drew Brees took time to sign autographs, pose for pictures, and pat little kids on the head. Packer fans all around me were thanking him, and the Saints fans, for beating the Vikings.
Your guys should have another fine season ahead of them.

I certainly will be praying for his recovery, and for everyone close to him.
May God give peace, strength and wisdom to everyone involved.

It finally made the paper today. Here's the article:
State Worker Arrested in Balloon Incident
MADISON - Police have arrested a state worker who allegedly popped a protester's balloon at the State Capitol.
The state Department of Administration, which runs the Capitol and oversees the Capitol Police, said the worker was arrested Thursday on suspicion of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.
Protesters demonstrating against Gov. Scott Walker's collective bargaiing law have been bringing balloons to daily sing-a-longs in the Capitol rotunda. One of the protesters claims the worker popped her balloon with a pocket knife and threw her into a door following Monday's sing-a-long.
During the balloon popping incident, the worker apparently injured himself causing blood to drip onto the floor and partially down the main staircase.
State workers have since installed a large net near the ceiling of the rotunda in an effort to keep large amounts of balloons from collecting on the ceiling and possibly damaging the large mural painted there.
