The two players I am interested in are Sam Bradford QB and Aaron Curry OLB. Both are being considered top five talent and I could probably count out Bradford since the Lions are more than likely to draft him first overall. Still I dont follow college ball so who can tell me a little somthing about each player? Talents? Strengths? Weakness? Would you think Curry would be worthy of the third overall pick?

The Chiefs should sign Julius Peppers, Antonio Pierce, Joey Porter, L.T., Darren Sproles, Antrel Rolle, Oshiomogho Atogwe, and Thomas Jones. SUPER BOWL!!!

I'll have to admit, I have not watched much Wake Forest football this year (most of just one game), so I can't give you much of an opinion other than that he shows up on alot of people's lists as a top 5 guy and he is at a position of need.

Curry is a great player and a ball hawk. He led a very good Wake Forrest D that had 35 takeaways. He has great size 6'2" 245 and runs the 40 in the 4.5 to 4.6 range. Curry has never missed a game due to injury which is a big plus also.

My vote is Aaron Curry, Rey Maualuga or (I know I'll get shit for this) Michael Crabtree. I know our team needs defense but we also need a real #1 reciever. I highly doubt we could get a steal like the Pats got for Moss.... Second round I'm praying Alex Mack is still there so we can move Rudy to RG.

Are you saying Bowe isnt a real #1 reciever?

I dont think he has proven that he is. With all the drops he had this year. I hope he does better but from what Ive seen he is a able #2

I think Bowe is a #1.5 reciever. He's close to being a #1 but with his drops and him not having top end quickness or being fast I think he's more of a possession guy. He's our Boldin. We could always use a Fitzgerald. I'm hoping in his 3rd year Bowe finally steps up and lowers his number of drops. I'm a Bradley fan as well so if he had a past of staying healthy, which he doesn't, then I'd be all for drafting Curry.

BTW I just noticed it wasnt Bradford I was interested in. Hell this shouldnt even be a discussion anymore with him not going in the draft it was. I meant Matt Stafford out of Georgia. What can anyone tell about him?

See Warthog's thread, on McShay's mock draft. He had us taking Stafford, and for the life of me, don't know why. This mock was done PRIOR to Bradford's decision to stay in school.....As for Stafford...uh...NO.......IMO, his faults out weigh his strengths. I've seen him play, and he just doesn't stand out. Yeah he is good, but is way too inconsistant(we have that). Let's not break the bank, on a 1st round QB. I think comparable QB's can be found later, but it all rides on WHOM is running this ship, by then.

I'm really starting to jump on the Aaron Curry train... the guy is a freakin stud. If not him I would trade down to 11-15 and get J. Maclin or the USC LB.... I know I'm a homer

If the Chiefs do trade down I hope it's to get Ray Maualuga
