Why does it seem that Peyton Manning is in this weekends Super Bowl ™ ? He is everywhere.

What's everyone's plans for the game?

Its a small town thats land locked. Its not a major "hub" for lack of a better word of excitement. Now aolng with maybe AJ Foyt Payton is the biggest sports figure that town has ever seen. I really dont count the Baltimore years. What stars in other venues are that big? Its also not a maor party town. What are people gonna do when the games not on? I think the NFL really needs to have this week planned well if its gonna work. There are plenty of strip clubs. If the can fill up that race track the crowd for a ball game will be nothing.

As far as the game goes. Get up Sunday morning. Turn the TV on......game and commercials.....shut TV off (not mandatory) and fall asleep. Day is complete

I imagine I will get just as tired of hearing about Peyton Manning every day this offseason as I did hearing about Brett Favre.

As for the game, my aunts birthday is the 30th of Janurary. So we have always had a birthday/super bowl party at her house, and my whole family ends up going. Drink some margarittas and eat some good food.

This proposal gets brandied about a lot, but the Super Bowl should rotate between Miami, New Orleans, and San Diego, and that's it. There's not another NFL city that people really want to go to in February that also works as a viable venue for the game. Even Dallas was a disaster... I'm expected to believe NJ is going to be a success?

In a related note, the Super Bowl is here next year for the first time since the 2001 season (Jan. 2002).

Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

If it were here this year, it'd be in the 70's. That was a fluke.

A blizzards effects will disappear normally in a day or two. With respect to the people who lost so much, the flood still hasnt been recovered from.

If we would have passed the roof thing for Arrowhead, was this the weekend they were promising to have the Super Bowl in KC?

It's on! This is the last game of the year, so sad, yet this game should be fun!.

...

You know I wasn't that hyped up for the SB and I've been sitting in my computer room with my TV on for several minutes and overhearing 80's pop music. I sat here going "Who is this?"

Look... Modonna at the SB? Really?

Isn't that one fo the 'gay' tests? "Which is your favorite Modonna album?"

You know... because straight men don't listen to Madonna. At best they would watch her music videos in the 80's with the sound turned off.

It's not a condemnation of any kind... I"m just saying... women and gay men aren't exactly the target audence of the SB... but I guess the goal is to bring in people who don't watch for the game.

First of all Cher doesn't belong there. I don't like Madonna or Gaga, but they have this thing called 'talent' that Cher sadly lacks.

I think they all fall into the "very popular among gay men and girls' catagory though.

Well, hopefully not Cher. Why was she famous? I never really understood that.

That was much more entertaining that I thought it would be, but we all know what my favorite part was.
