So Manning is going to sign with us and retire?

Cos Manning won't be playing football again. Unless there's amazing advances in medical science over the next 3-4 months.

Manning should just retire and be their OC.

I feel bad for the guy. As an unapologetic and proud Manning-hater, even I think this sucks.

Manning is one of the best ever, and he's worked his ass off to be one of the best ever. He's lived and breathed football since he was an infant. It sucks that he can't go out on his own terms, but I just don't think he'll ever be medically cleared to play again.

I get Manning being out and all but that team should've been better than 2 wins IMO. I think this was a no brainer.

I got to admit, I thought he was fired three weeks ago.

My name is Maximus Decimus Warthog, member of HomeoftheChiefs.com, former season ticket holder of the lower level , loyal servant to the true coach, Martimus Schottenheimer. Father to disenfranchised sons, husband to a non football fanatic wife, and I will see my Chiefs in a Super Bowl, in this life or the next.
