defensive backs who celebrate an incompletion--and the next play giving up a long play or a touchdown;
a defensive lineman celebrating a tackle--and the next play the runner blows by him for a 5 yard gain for poetic justice;
players who hit instead of tackling--allowing the runner more yardage due to horrible fundamentals;
punting from anywhere on the opponent's side of the 50;
Just a few examples of actions that the football gods will reward in their own very noticeable way

I have had people look at me like im stupid for hitting the seats in front of me and yelling as loud as i can every time the chiefs defense is on the field. Ive had people ask me to sit down so they can see. Lets just say thats not what i expected at chiefs games. i grew up hearing about how crazy and loud the fans were, and when i started making it to games on a regular basis (first game was '08 miami), i was pretty disapointed

Homer: [reading] "Project Arcturus couldn't have succeeded without you. This will get you a little closer to that dream of yours. It's not the Dallas Cowboys, but it's a start. Drop me a line if you're on the East Coast, Hank Scorpio." Aw, the Denver Broncos!
Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

2. Making defense illegal. Luckily the Giants/Packers game proved that all offense and no defense still ain't good enough.
3 Players who help up opposing players. Why are you helping out your opponent? You realize that guy is trying to take money out of your wallet and food off of your table?! He wants your kids to be homeless, and he wants to steal your wife! At least that's how players should look at each other during games. Every time a player has to pick himself up off the ground, he has to expend his OWN energy! By helping him up you are using your own energy and helping your opponent (who is trying to defeat you) conserve his own energy! You shouldn't help the opponent up... you should drive a knee into him or stomp on his hand or something. You know... while the refs ain't lookin'.
4. I hate that arrowhead is just another douchey stadium now, with the complete homefield advantage nothing more than a memory.
5. I hate that the most popular player in the NFL is a player who isn't even good.

1) It's faster
2) I still think some refs have to big of egos to admit they made the wrong call. I.e. McClusters "fumble" against S.D

Exactly.
I don't hate Tebow for any reason other than being a bronco.
I don't blame the media either. Tebow is the most popular player in the NFL and his merchandise sales prove it.
I entirely blame the fans, largely made up of people who don't know a damn thing about football. They just love the brand.

And you make a very good point about fantasy football, I never put those two together. I might just stop playing now

Yes. Ray Lewis was part of a group that beat and stabbed a man to death.
