Eli Manning earned a ton of respect from me. Most QB's (especially ours) would buckle and collapse in a game like that. Manning was hit like 20 times... pressured another dozen, and sacked five or six times. Yet he stood tall and kept trying to make those tough throws. He never backed down, and he never appeared to get rattled.
Manning may not be his brother, but I've never seen Peyton do that.

Likewise, I gained a similar respect for the Niners defense. I thought they were good going into the game, but that performance by the front seven was insane.

I think the biggest difference between Eli, and Peyton is Peyton feels entitled to winning. Thus, when he is not winning his face/attitude sours. When that happens it infects the team. That I think is why the Colts would crumble in the playoffs.
