Tebow finishes with an average of 32 yards per completion. I watched the 2nd quarter of the game. Nothing but Broncos' WR's sprinting by Steelers defenders.

Here comes warthog's new postseason rules (or, rather, the ones he wants to see used once).

I still think this change is stupid. And I think it's really stupid to have different rules for regular and postseason.
Didnt matter did it. But....wasn't it better to end that way rather than to complete to big passes, run three times then a Prader FG with no response by Pittsburgh? Teams will go for the jugular now so that the other team wont have a chance to respond, yes I like that.

But I do agree, they should have that same OT rule in the regular season too..

That was an awesome way to win a game in OT! And not just because it was my team that did it either. Way more exciting.

Just a question. Does anyone think my Broncos have a shot against the Pats? The way I see it, I don't think it's going to be another 41-23 loss for them. I think that with the boost they just got, that score will be much closer. They're looking good even without Decker. I know you guys don't like seeing Denver in the playoffs and I'm sorry your Chiefs didn't make it. Just looking for your opinion.

I don't think Denver is as good as they looked in that game...Pitt was stacking the box against the run, and the corners weren't good enough to go man to man with those receivers. Tebow never got sacked, and kept getting away when it was close. Pitt is getting old and it's showing. And honestly...Ben is no Brady. The Patriots almost seem to score at will, and Denver's secondary is...well...not that good either.

Of course, their secondary isn't that good either, so...

It'll be interesting, that's for sure.

Pats will win pretty big. The Steelers were pretty beat up in all the wrong places.

Although everyone keeps saying how bad the Pats defense is too. Granted, they were bad the first time they met earlier. But, I think that's also when Tebow seemed to have also lost his "magic". That's why I'm saying it won't be another 41-23 game. I think it'll be closer...much closer. As far as which side it'll go to, that's up in the air.

A hobbled QB, an underrated starting safety (not hurt, but couldn't play), a solid d-linemen, starting running back, etc.

I think there's some ways that the Steelers screwed up schematically, but it wouldn't have mattered if they had all of their personnel healthy. But hey, that's football.

Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

I don't care, but that was an great way to end that game! Yeah the Steelers were injured, but they had chances to win too. Damn Tebow! He will be haunting us for years i believe.

The Steelers never set up a spy on Tebow like KC did. New England wont make that mistake plus the fact they are not playing in Denver.

I'm really glad that Tebow won that game. I believe he was out the door if he had one more crappy performance. Now he has saved his job for next year and that is great, because as HG has pointed out, there is certain ways of defending him. The Patriots started it with their first game against Denver, KC showed how to keep a spy on Tebow, but you will also need a good defensive backfield against him to lock down the receivers and make him hold the ball. I have no idea what happened yesterday because I didn't see the game, but I did hear some analysis that the Steelers D backfield did not have the greatest game.

I think we'll be alright against him next year, so he doesn't worry me.

No, seriously, what did he say?
actually it was quite complimentary...talking about how he likes to throw long, accurate passer, blah blah....basically anything he SHOULD say to save face really...Jason Taylor's comentary about other things in the game was MUCH more entertaining....since he had a lot of strong opinions that he couldn't say if he were still part of the league...at one point even stating "I can say that now without the league fining me"

Demaryius Thomas wasn’t sure the Broncos won after score

Broncos coach John Fox prepped his team about the league’s new overtime rules last week. The Broncos were reminded of them again before overtime started.

Not everyone was 100% confident in their grasp of the rules, however, when the overtime actually began.

Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas said with a laugh Monday he wasn’t actually sure the game was over until he saw the reaction of everyone around him.

“I saw Champ run up to me in the tunnel, and I was like, what’s going on?” Thomas said Monday.

Thomas may not have known the overtime rules, but he knows how to stiff arm. The Broncos will take that tradeoff.

Good point. Plus if we can just get our Offense to Score..it won't even be a problem.
