Yeah, Matty Cassel is every bit as good as Stafford, right?

Ouch! Don't be so touchy, wasnt even insinuating that. I just watched Stafford methodically march down the field and score a TD with such ease, it was just the first thing that came to mind.

I still want to see the new OT rule in effect. No game went into OT last year did it?

That was awesome. I've been sick as a dog all day, and am still incredibly weak and dehydrated. Still, managed to make it to the Dome, not cause any sort of medical scene, and catch one helluva game. Brees set more records, so did the Saints offense, and they continue to just steamroll teams. I really think they're a lot better than the 2009 team. On both sides of the ball.

Going to go die now. Hopefully will recuperate in time for next weekend's game.

Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

I was going to "Like" this post for your dedication to make it to a game sick as balls, but then you may have thought I liked the "Going to die now." part.

It took me a minute, but I think he's saying the real Super Bowl will be Saints-Packers in the NFC Championship game, which is really 2 weeks before.

Although Saints-Packers is probably the best match-up of any possible postseason one and likely to herald the champ, I wouldn't count out the Falcons/49ers or a few teams from the AFC winning it all. I think everyone has been expecting a Saints-Packers match-up since midway through the season anyway.

Anyone catch the guest comentators on NFLN last night? Listening to Philip Rivers talk about Brees and the Saints made me laugh.

Don't get me wrong, the movie looks interesting and the vibes surrounding the Broncos game are not entirely positive (for Broncos fans anyway), but why do you have to watch the movie today? Hell, why didn't you watch it yesterday?

I am going to have to check NFL.com to see if they have clips of that!

Flashback to the year 2004 and an article by Ivan Carter in the KC Star:

"When he was hired to replace Greg Robinson as defensive coordinator, Cunningham was asked about Sunday's matchup against Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts, who knocked the Chiefs out of the playoffs at Arrowhead last season.

“We're going to make 'em punt, I can promise you that,” Cunningham said."

Guess what Gunn, the Saints didn't punt once last night.
