If they could at least make the game mean something....like the team that wins that team automatically gets the ball and or chooses to defer at the beginning of the Super Bowl instead of a coin toss? I don't know at least the MLB All-Star Game has meaning to the World Series. But whatever.

I still think you can do something to make this at least back to the way it was, raise the winners pay, lower the losers pay, kick thextra pts from the 30, heck, I think putting flags on them would even be more exciting.

Yes, I remember when the '77 Cowboys took on the '77 Royals, boy that tug of war was a doozy.
Can you imagine the fit the teams and agents would throw today if that still went on?

Can you believe those little bitty baseball players, Freddie Patek was one of them, held those big ass football players to a draw? If I was a betting man at that time, I might have bet the house on the Cowboys.

Actually the thing that struck me was, by comparison to modern standards, how small the football players were.

I mean it's no joke. Great players like Randy White would get their shit pushed in if they played today.
I'm sure that's all natural and not influenced at all by the proliferation of HGH in sports.

Diet and strength training have came a long way too though. It's easier to be 300+ lbs now and still be relatively healthy.

Not sure I'm with you on this part. I'd be more inclined to agree if linemen didn't drop dead at age 45 quite so often.

I think he's referring to the Orlando Browns and Chester McGlocktons of more recently.
