Not that it matters, but I think it's $50K to the winner and $25K to the loser (top link).

If anybody cares, the amount of money paid out for playoff games and Super Bowl is in the bottom link

That garbage game may as well be a 7 on 7 Drill! The O Lineman aren't needed because they don't let the defense do a damn thing! I've never seen Hali play so slowly and un-inspired! For someone who likes to see the defense actually play....THIS WAS GARBAGE and I only half payed attention to the quarter and a half that I had the game on. I'm sure its fun for the players but as a fan watching....BORING! It was sorta fun watching players try things they never would in season but aside from that....barf.

If they could at least make the game mean something....like the team that wins that team automatically gets the ball and or chooses to defer at the beginning of the Super Bowl instead of a coin toss? I don't know at least the MLB All-Star Game has meaning to the World Series. But whatever.

I was really disappointed in Hali. It seemed like he was not playing very hard at all, but DJ was. I can't imagine DJ playing at a slower speed, but before last Sunday, i thought that about Hali too.

I still think you can do something to make this at least back to the way it was, raise the winners pay, lower the losers pay, kick thextra pts from the 30, heck, I think putting flags on them would even be more exciting.

Remember the old Superstars competitions--guys doing the tug of war and such? Make it like that.

Yes, I remember when the '77 Cowboys took on the '77 Royals, boy that tug of war was a doozy.

Can you imagine the fit the teams and agents would throw today if that still went on?

Can you believe those little bitty baseball players, Freddie Patek was one of them, held those big ass football players to a draw? If I was a betting man at that time, I might have bet the house on the Cowboys.

Actually the thing that struck me was, by comparison to modern standards, how small the football players were.

I mean it's no joke. Great players like Randy White would get their shit pushed in if they played today.

I'm sure that's all natural and not influenced at all by the proliferation of HGH in sports. :D

Oh, definitely.

Diet and strength training have came a long way too though. It's easier to be 300+ lbs now and still be relatively healthy.

Not sure I'm with you on this part. I'd be more inclined to agree if linemen didn't drop dead at age 45 quite so often.

Those guys are part of the steroid era of football. Heart attacks would be just as easy to attribute to that as weight, if not more so. Then there are the guys that took too many hits to the head.

Nobody likes forever.

I think he's referring to the Orlando Browns and Chester McGlocktons of more recently.
