Okay. If we were to make a deal to move into the top 5 of the draft what would you pay?

If you were to swap positions in the 2012 draft, give them Bowe our 2nd rounder and the first rounder from 2013 would that be to high or low a price.

Easy there, bud. Let's wait until we actually know what pick is ours before we talk price.

Well ESPN is talking right now with Slash on Mike & Mike. And he says the Colts need to get RG3 or Luck. Then they can dump Manning for two 1st's and a 2nd. Sounds a bit steep to me.

Well, that depends upon where we would be picking in the 1st round. But yeah, I'd tend to agree that's a little steep for a player that might not ever play again, or even then may never be effective again.

You can take it to the bank that he'll do everything, reasonably or otherwise, he can to get on that field again and improve whatever team he is on any way possible. It's just, that kind of assurance isn't enough by itself.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks the Colts will be able to get anything for a QB who will never play an NFL game again.

Manning is done. The fans, the media, the colts, and Manning all need to accept there are limits to the current levels of medical science. If you play football with a neck like his, he's just asking to spend his life in a wheelchair.

This isn't a bum knee we're talking about.

I think it was Schefter who said something on SportsCenter today about Luck potentially going to the Rams, then being traded to someone else. He indicated the trade price would be three 1sts plus two 2nds.

I would do two first (2012/21013), a 2012 second, a 2013 third to get into the top 3 to select RGIII without blinking an eye. If St. Louis or Minnesota countered, I would still be listening and would probably broker a deal. If it was three 1s and two 2s for the first overall selection, I could definitely come to terms with a package for the #2 or #3 pick. I would probably come pretty close to letting that exact package go to be honest.

I'd love to have a shot at Luck or RGIII but it ain't happening. Anything after Tannehill might be worth pursuing. I see Tannehill being this years C. Ponder... a little bit of a reach for a early to mid first round pick. What other QB's are going to be available this Draft?
