BTW, they have posted the leading vote getters here:
http://www.nfl.com/p..._headline_stack
12 out of the 18 starting spots of the leading vote getters are either Ravens (7) or Patriots (5). I can kind of understand the Patriots, but 7 Ravens? Let's hope the coaches and players do a good job of balancing that out.

DJ isn't just having a probowl season.
He's having an All-Pro season. I'm not sure there's an inside backer playing better football right now.
Flowers should NOT go to the Probowl. He should have gone last season. This season he leads the NFL in TD catches allowed and he leads by an enormous margin.

Homer: [reading] "Project Arcturus couldn't have succeeded without you. This will get you a little closer to that dream of yours. It's not the Dallas Cowboys, but it's a start. Drop me a line if you're on the East Coast, Hank Scorpio." Aw, the Denver Broncos!
Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

I've watched the probowl.
The last time I watched it, Dale Carter got an interception on an overthrow by Troy Aikman.
So... Yeah. There you go.

I've watched most of them. I watched the ones where we sent our entire offense. I watched a few after that to see the Williams Wall, and I watched the one Casey made when he was in Denver just to see him and Brian play together again.
Man, it's watered down, but it's still football. I love football. I've literally pulled my truck over to watch a pick up game. During basketball season I play Tecmo Bowl at least once a week to fill the void. I even watch that atrocity where they drag out the 50 year old vets to play touch football in the sand. Football is a lot like head. It's gotta be pretty damn bad to be worse than whatever else you were planning on doing with your day.

I think Flowers is a probowl caliber player, but the probowl isn't a career award. He should have gone last season.
Lardarius Webb should have gone over Bailey though. 0 TD's allowed 5 int's and a 54 passer rating against him.
Joseph and Revis had better seasons than Flowers without question.

Yeah. People blame the fans but what they don't want to accept is that players themselves have a bit of a 'buddy system' going that really prevents them from being objective as well.

Until they change the way the voting is done, the Pro Bowl will always be a joke...oh, and fan voting...yeah, that needs to go away entirely
