As most of you know, I am a huge college basketball fan. I have always followed Ken Pomeroy's site that ranks every division 1 team through a statistical analysis (no human input). A ton of coaches use this site, as this data is pretty rare to find elsewhere. Anyways the site ranks teams not based on what the season will be, but from how they have played thus far and if they were to matchup TODAY. I will update this page often to show trends of some of the local teams that everyone likes. The site updates its ratings every day so there is fluctuation when a team wins big or pulls an upset.
Here we go!

I like this site because people don't get to pick the favorites. Everything is done through statistics of current games played. Over the season we will see these numbers change, maybe even drastically as the sample size is still pretty thin. By late December we will have a better gauge at what kind of teams we are looking at.
If you want me to add a team to keep an eye on I will put them in this as well. We will track these teams throughout the season.
Note: I put Tennessee on there just to see how Cuonzo Martin does in his first season.

What's his ranking for Murray State? They're 35 in USA Today and 40 in another. Undefeated, and play @ Memphis, Sunday. They beat Dayton this past Sunday, and Dayton beat #12 Alabama, last night.
