Manning has had neck problems for years. Acting like it was all thrown on Polian and Irsay's lap in september is just flat out wrong. Those teams did NOT ride Manning entirely to success. They have talent. They're not inept. The team had manning's injury dropped in their lap. They were told all along Manning would play this season. The media was told he'd play this season. Then they covered up his second neck surgery. Actively covered it up for two weeks! WHY?

Denver's personnel moves? You mean trading a WR who wanted traded, would not resign, and was in the final year of his contract? Starting a QB who fans want to see, that the club spent a 1st round pick on, when the season is a total lost cause anyway? Yeah, I know what I think, but I can totally rationalize all of them as well if I wanted to argue against it.

It's conjecture to say they're making all those moves because they WANT TO LOSE. Same as with the colts. I'm not in their offices... I don't know. I've never seen a front office/owner act so shady in my life.
I'm just not seeing it. Sorry.

I buy it with Denver. I don't see it with Indy, and I think Miami is much better than their record. I think they just have terrible luck. STL is bad, but they're saddled with Bradford, the last pre-rookie-cap #1 overall QB, so they can't move even if they want to. If any team is tanking, I think it's Denver, but as you said, if you want, you can explain away their moves. They didn't get enough for Lloyd to make me think that they were better off moving him mid-season than letting him walk at the end of the year, and I'm suspicious of Elway's motives because of his past comments about Tebow, and the Stanford connection to Luck.

Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

Anybody see the close-up of John Elway after Tebow scored that touchdown to beat the Jets? Seriously - I think he was pissed off and trying his best to look excited.

And I'm suspicious of Irsay because he was tweeting about Luck and visiting the Stanford campus in week TWO when his team was 0-1. He tweeted it, and deleted it a few hours later.

It's obviously not hard evidence, but in my eyes no owner/GM has acted more shady than Irsay and Polian.

I DO think Elway is probably unhappy that Tebow seems to pull plays out of his ass in the 4th quarter to keep winning.

Luck or no Luck, I just don't think Elway and Fox want Tebow on the team. I've never seen a coach more disheartened during a 4-1 stretch.

He looked like the owner of the Indians in Major League when they play Wild Thing and Vaughn walks out onto the field.

Elway's reaction is about 15-20 seconds in. He's like, "Ahhhh....yeah...., that's great...."

I think they thought when they put Tebow in that they could appease the fans and still lose.

Oops.

I strongly dislike the Broncos and enjoy watching them lose. At the same time, I know Tebow isn't in their long term plans, and every time he wins it f**ks up their plans a little more. Thus, there's a little part of me now that likes Tim Tebow. The majority of the league > Tebow, but Tebow > Elway's misguided plan to Suck4Luck.

Even Tebow can read defenses better than Cassel!

Tebow>Cassel
