I don't mind the ads on the site, really I don't, you have to do what you have to do, but the New York Jets mastercard as is driving me nuts, couldn't they change that to the Chiefs or make it fit with the web sites main focus, which is the Chiefs?

Where do you live? It could be based on Location.
For me it is showing Bears stuff.

It went from the Jets to the Bears, it might just be rotating through the teams.

I think it contextually looks at what websites you have been to. For instance, I've been plastered with ads for Lowe's and stuff like that, since this is a work computer and right before hand I was researching Kwikset locks.

Is that why I am getting porn ads too? I just thought Penguin was a pervert, guess not.

The ads are contextual and targeted based upon your location. If you come across any that are inappropriate we can block those.

The only reason for them is to attempt to cover the cost of hosting the site. If they are too annoying let me know and we can look at reducing them a bit.

I'm cool with them as well, they are low impact. I look at sites like steepandcheap.com and rei.com all the time so they are all about outdoor gear for me.

I just don't like sites that have the ads on the side, the ads up top don't bother me. And there can be nothing inappropriate to me, if it tracks where I have been, then I deserve what they are trying to sell me.
