Woo hoo!

The Denver Broncos won't have one of their best weapons when the Kansas City Chiefs play them twice this season. Jason La Canfora reported on Monday morning that the Broncos have traded WR Brandon Lloyd to the St. Louis Rams.
No word on what the compensation is but the Broncos were reportedly seeking a third round pick.
This means that Lloyd is out of the AFC West, which is good news for the Chiefs. Lloyd has two touchdowns against the Chiefs in Denver last year and he's a solid receiver so taking options away from Tim Tebow helps the Chiefs in the short-term.
Lloyd is entering the final year of his contract so I imagine the Rams would want to give him a long-term deal after trading for him. It'll be interesting to see how much Lloyd can fetch considering the Chiefs could be giving Dwayne Bowe a contract at some point.

Well, this is good news for now. Hopefully they whiff mightily on that 3rd rounder and this hampers the development of Tebow.

I don't get this logic. Unless Denver is hoping to Start from scratch. If that is the case the Tebow is really screwed.

I think Denver has fully embraced Suck4Luck.

Dammit.

Yeah that sounds like Suck for Luck to me.

They just traded away their best receiver. One step closer to the worst record in the league. Eddie Royal is on the block, too, and they've just benched their quarterback in favor of a guy who's proven he can't play professional football, and he was probably benched at the direction of the last highly lauded Stanford professional quarterback prospect.

So, please, enlighten me: what do you think they're doing?

I don't think Tebow has proven anything. I certainly don't think he's proven he can't play QB in the NFL. He hasn't proven he CAN either.

What he has proven is that he's a better QB in the red-zone than Orton. Orton piles up yards and finishes with FG's.

I do think they're stacking the odds against him by trading every WR on their roster in attempt to suck4luck and put a end to tebowmania in Denver.

That wasn't sarcasm. I was agreeing with you.

It sounds like they are selling the farm to get luck.

Denver Broncos' DT McBean arrested for stalking

DENVER - Denver Broncos' defensive tackle Ryan McBean was arrested on Oct. 14 for stalking, 9NEWS has learned.
He posted a $50,000 bond and will appear in court on Oct. 28. The conditions of his arrest are unknown at this time.
McBean, 27, went to Oklahoma State and was taken in the fourth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2007. He was cut from the Steelers and was subsequently signed by the Broncos in 2008.

My bad.

I thought you were suggesting that if they were going into Suck4Luck mode, they'd be stockpiling valuable draft picks, not sixth rounders, to trade up for him.

I don't think any team with even a chance to be in contention for Luck wouldn't take him, though, even Indy. I can see them trading Manning to some desperate team for a load of draft picks before they'd let Luck go elsewhere, and that's assuming Manning ever plays again.

If Manning doesn't play this year, it will be hard to trade him.

Do you really believe not one desperate team would go after him? I'd roll the dice on a trade for Manning over Kevin Kolb at a high pick, a starting corner, and $21 million in guarantees.

Looks like McDouche is still trying to screw the Donks. Awesome!!!

As for Suck4Luck. There are still 3 teams that need to win a game before they are even close to in the running. And Tebow is gonna win some games for them, mark my words.

Lloyd was going to leave Denver in the offseason for nothing anyways... It's not like having Lloyd around this year will magically get them in to the playoffs. I understand the trade, they got something they wouldn't have if they held on to him for the season.
