Well, on the subject of "other NFL games" I'm going to Tampa this weekend for the Saints-Bucs game. I've been on the road to see the Saints in Atlanta, but never been to Raymond James Stadium. I'm pretty excited. Going with and meeting some of my old roommates from college. We're sitting in the seventh row behind the Saints. So if you guys are watching that game (might be on in KC because of Freeman) and you see a bunch of scruffy-looking guys in Saints gear getting arrested, that's us. Skinny dude with the beard is me.

Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

How odd is this? Last year at this time the Lions and 49ers had a combined recorded of 1-9 and this year they meet up this week at 9-1. Thought that was pretty cool.

The beauty of the NFL. Everyone has a chance to win, and everyone has a shot at getting a franchise QB. Oh wait.....

OK, where are all the people that said that the Ravens would be representing the AFC in the Super Bowl this year? They don't look that great.

Yeah I thought tonight was gonna be a complete domination by the Ravens. Didn't watch the game but by looking at the stats it looks like it was pretty sh**ty

Yea Jags defense was all over the Ravens last night. They could not get into any sort of rhythm the whole first half. In fact, they didn't have a first down in the whole first half of the game.

Oh yea, the other thing about last night's game were the fumbles. OMG! It seemed like MJD couldn't hang on to the ball to save his life last night. Rice was just about as bad.

Joe Flacco is worse than Matt Cassel.

If by worse you mean considerably better, you are correct.

Joe Flacco has always had that shell-shocked, half-a-second-behind-everyone-else-in-thought-process look that Cassel has. How he made it this far I'll never know.

You and I have totally different reads on the guy. I think he's a top 10 QB more often than not for the better part of the next decade. And we all know I'm never wrong about QBs.

Seriously though, if you wanna know why the guy hangs on, it's that tremendous arm strength. You can throw him off by crowding eight in the box on every down, but if you do, you know he's eventually gonna burn you.
