Or so you've heard.

Wow.

I say this with absolutely no malice, but I really feel sorry for you. Not because of the quoted post, but just in general. I hope you have one thing in your life that brings you some comfort.

Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

I say this with no malice, but I think you need to get your sarcasm meter checked.

FTR, I am not a fan, per se, but I do appretiate the simple complexity, for lack of a better description, of his story telling

Michael Bay is awesome.

Not in the 'his movies are really good' way, but in the 'he's made a bunch of money selling people exactly what they want while being fully aware of it being what it is".

He sneers and laughs at all criticism levied against him and his movies when he's not sleeping with beautiful women on big piles of money. I mean his transformers movies are not good, but the three of them have grossed what? Two billion dollars world wide? I mean holy freaking crap!

You ever seen the movie "The Island"? Terrible Movie, but Scarlett has never looked hotter. Actually, that's besides the point (damn she was hot in that movie). You watch MST3K? This movie was clearly a remake of a movie called 'clone island' or Valley of the Clonosaurus or something like that. It appeared on MST3K and I was like "lol". Anyway all Bay really did was add explosions and hot women (Scarlett... did I mention how hot she was?) running in slow motion. Plus, it had flying Jet skis.

Can you imagine the meeting where Bay is just sitting there reading through the script and they get to a big chase scene? He blurts out "You know what this scene needs? Flying jet skis with machine guns on them."

That's right. Michael Bay: American Hero.

I'd agree with that. :jester:

Actually, there are plenty of ways I could compare the two, not necessarily bad ways, but I gotta get ready for work and it'd take a little while.
