OK, brace yourselves, Raider Nation. I know it’s been a trying weekend with the loss of Nnamdi Asomugha and the Jared Gaither situation. And now this.
Oakland Raiders coach Hue Jackson told reporters Sunday that second-year receiver/returner Jacoby Ford broke his hand and he is could be out for a couple of weeks.
It’s not that bad if Ford’s hand heals as expected.
If he misses two weeks, he should still be able to play in a couple of preseason games. I don’t think he’d play in the preseason finale regardless of his health status because he is a starter.
So, it’s not the end of the world.
It is a bummer since Ford showed great flashes as a rookie and he has a chance to be a star. He could use the repetitions at receiver since there was no offseason program and he's a likely starter. But he should have enough time to be ready for the season.

And this is one of the comments ( I know half the people on the ESPN boards are retarded).

i think al davis at the tender age of 82 should lead the raiders in a rebellion against the nfl . cap is too low for us ? we will make our own cap . refs are biased ? we will choose our own refs
