Veteran free-agent quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has agreed to terms on a multiyear deal with the Tennessee Titans, sources confirmed to NFL Network’s Albert Breer on Wednesday.
Hasselbeck, who will be 36 in September, presumably will start for the Titans and help groom first-round draft pick Jake Locker, who was able to follow Hasselbeck’s career closely while playing at the University of Washington. Hasselbeck played the past 10 seasons in Seattle and led the Seahawks to Super Bowl XL, the team’s only Super Bowl appearance.
NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported Tuesday that the Seahawks were unlikely to re-sign Hasselbeck. Later Tuesday, Seattle reportedly agreed to terms with former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.

I saw that flash accross the screen on ESPN. But no one said a word about it so I thought I might have misread it.

Weddle is staying in San Diego

http://espn.go.com/b...ys-in-san-diego

Eric Weddle signed a record deal to remain in San Diego. He was the team’s free-agency priority. He will receive $40 million over the next five years. He will receive $19 million in garneted money. It’s the highest contract ever given to a safety

Thank God though, Gaffney tore us up. Good riddance.

Jarmon joined the Redskins as a third-round pick in the 2009 supplemental draft. In two seasons he played in 16 games, starting one and recording 0.5 sacks.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

I know Gaffney is 30 years old and never has been a star, but Demaryius Thomas is coming off of a torn Achilles and Eddie Royal is coming off of hip surgery. Denver is running a serious risk at becoming too thin at a position that had been a strength. That's really important considering how much their running game has tailed off (ranked 26th last season).

Overrated player. Not worth the price he'll likely command.

I saw a lot of tweets saying this is not true....

AdamSchefter Adam Schefter

Widespread reports 49ers releasing CB Nate Clements -- team and agent Todd France say not true.

But this makes he think he will be.

JasonLaCanfora Jason La Canfora

The 49ers have not informed CB Nate Clements he will be released. Not saying he won't be a cap casualty at some point but nothing yet

Ok I guess not a lot really
