Over in the football section I listed several cliches that I hate. Already, the second day of the season, there are some involving baseball that I already despise:

Walk-off homer (or double, or single or whatever it was that won the game)
Going Yard--can anyone just say "home run" anymore?

Going yard I don't like, but I love it when they call it a tater.
