Having demolishd a clearly overmatched New Mexico State team, the 2010 UH Warriors have secured at least a share of what's left of the Western Athletic Confrence championship finishing it's confrence season with a 7-1 record. A great parting gift for Boise State having to actually share their last confrence title with a team that they crushed on the dreaded "Smurf Turf". Hawaii could concievably win the WAC title outright if both Boise State and Nevada lose their last games against Utah State, and Louisiana Tech respectively. Not likely to happen, but like Chris Berman always says "That's why they play the game" . This is so good for the Hawaii program seeing how it has it's eyes on moving out of the WAC, and moving forward to the Mountain West for football in 2012. Continiuing their rivalries with Boise St., Fresno St., and Nevada, while renewing rivalries with former WAC memebers San Diego St., Colorado St. and the Air Force Academy, etc..
