The mascot for this team is Woody.

My name is Maximus Decimus Warthog, member of HomeoftheChiefs.com, former season ticket holder of the lower level , loyal servant to the true coach, Martimus Schottenheimer. Father to disenfranchised sons, husband to a non football fanatic wife, and I will see my Chiefs in a Super Bowl, in this life or the next.

As they are trying to make themselves more like the European and South American Football clubs I would be led to believe they are now officially mascot-less. That and it would be difficult for them to be able to maintain any kind of mascot for the 2-3 clubs which they plan on fielding in various sports including a potential Rugby club. They stand only to gain from this move be widening the potential interest by having other sports.

After a Sept. 10 win over the Houston Dynamo, SKC moves into a first place tie with division rival Columbus.

I don't know the playoff structure to MLS, but I imagine the odds of Sporting getting a home playoff game or two should be pretty good. If that's the case, I'm going to have to round up a couple friends and finally attend a soccer game.

If they can hold onto first then they will be good. The race is really tight right now and they dropped a point last night in Salt Lake. There is still a remaining home game against First place Columbus which will probably be huge.

Yeah, I had to come out to Utah for work and miss five home games and I was able to sell all of them for over face value without any delay. They're averaging about 17,500 people a home game and are rolling. In fact, the team had a two game away stretch to Vancouver and Portland, in which over 100 fans traveled from KC to the Pacific Northwest to root them on.
