Still, on top of being overshadowed by football, this is easily the most boring part of the NCAA basketball season.

Louisville v. Georgetown ought to be good.
Texas controls their own destiny. If they beat A&M tonight, they could realistically run the table. They are probably going to be a 1 or a 2 seed in the tournament if that's the case. I don't know how much they could really trip up even if they lose tonight.

They seem to have a really easy first half of the schedule.
Here is hoping they don't f**k it up

Last night we saw #9 Pittsburgh lose by 10 to Long Beach State IN Pittsburgh.
It's going to be a special year in college basketball because there looks to be about 3-4 elite teams with everything else looking pretty competitive.
Also to not the Missouri Valley is off to a fast start with conference wins from the following:
@ Nevada (Mo state) picked to win the WAC
vs. Butler (Evansville) in final four last 2 years
@ Old Dominion (UNI) always a top level mid major school, great at home
vs. Iowa State (Drake) Iowa State looks better than they have for a few year.
@ Arkansas State (Mo State) Ark State is predicted to win the Sun Belt, also went 13-0 at home last year.
@ UAB (Creighton) made the tourney last year, tough place to play on the road.
Notable games within the next few days
Wichita St vs Colorado (tonight)
Wichita St vs #15Alabama/Maryland (depending on bracket)
Drake vs. Ole Miss
Creighton @ Iowa

My name is Maximus Decimus Warthog, member of HomeoftheChiefs.com, former season ticket holder of the lower level , loyal servant to the true coach, Martimus Schottenheimer. Father to disenfranchised sons, husband to a non football fanatic wife, and I will see my Chiefs in a Super Bowl, in this life or the next.

Haha I love it.
The bar I go to in Chicago for the Chiefs game is a KU bar. It gets awkward sometimes when people start talking KU there.

Dom alone gives Missouri State a bigger presence on this board than Kansas.
