Yeah, I really don't want to face Kentucky, until at least the Final Four anyway. That's not just because they're the best team in the country, they'd be a horrible matchup for us too. Our guards ability to use their speed and drive is one of the most important elements to our game. Having Anthony Davis waiting in the lane means we'll be relegated to taking jump shots.

I have a feeling we're getting screwed out of a #1 seed. I didn't before everything went down, but now from the sounds of it KU would get a #1 seed before us and the Big Ten champion before them. I don't like their reasoning, so I'll go ahead and debunk it as best I can.

First off, lMizzou would be one of 3 or 4 teams with 30 or more wins. Ohio State I can kind of see since they'd be a 28 win team if they win, but with either Kansas or Michigan State you'd be talking about 3 less wins and 2 more losses. Conference RPI and depth should mostly be rewarded by getting more schools in.

Mizzou has some great quality wins. In conference, they were 4-1 against the #3 and #11 team in the country going into championship week. Out of conference they didn't have a rough schedule, but hell, netiher did Syracuse, and Mizzou crushed the teams they did face.

I also heard the argument that Kansas won 2 more conference games than Mizzou. News flash! Mizzou won 2 more tournament wins than them. That's before you even get into the whether or not Mizzou got screwed at KU's place.

I could go on, but I think I'll wait until I actually see where we end up first.

Honestly. I would rather have the 2 seed in the Midwest rather than the 1 somewhere else

...and they put Kansas in the Midwest instead of us...

That's gay. If only we lost to more good teams in the non-conference like they did (yank yank).

I think we still got a solid draw in the West, and I wouldn't rule out Detroit outright beating Kansas. Detroit is pretty good.

Mizzou's non conference, like always, was a joke... They have to start playing good teams. Notre Dame, a Pac-12 school, and a down CAA team won't get it done.

And you can thank Mike Anderson for that.

I partially blame Old Dominion, Villanova, and Illinois for not doing their part. I believe all three went to the dance last year.

Damnit! Why do I have to be gainfully employed? I'd much rather be watching this at home with my feet kicked up on my coffee table instead of listening to it at work with my feet kicked up on my boss's desk.

Admittedly I didn't watch the game only read about. One thing I wonder is why does a team take a 3 point shot when only down by two? Why not drive and either get a good inside shot or maybe get fouled? Three point shots are such a low percentage. Personally, I hate seeing stats like 5 out of 22 or such from the 3 point line. Was pulling for Mizzou myself due to Anderson.

I don't want to make it seem like I'm complaining about the refs too much, but they were clearly mindful that many people thought the refs propped up Syracuse against UNC-Asheville, so they called the game really loose towards the end.

Still, it's our own damn fault. We lost that game purely on defense. It sucks to lose a game when you score 80+ points.

The thing that really sucks for me is I basically can't watch the NCAA tournament now. I hate being reminded of bad losses, so I'll just have to entertain myself somehow else.
