I've never been hung over in my life. Either I sober up before the night is over, or I wake up still drunk, which is worse. That's because I'm a man of extremes.

This game played out exactly the way we planned it. A ton of lead changes in the first half, trail most of the second half, go on an 11-0 run to close out the game when you're down 8. Pretty sure that was our strategy all week.

We had a pretty exciting night on Sat night. About 8 of us went over to one of our favorite Mexican restaurant dives in Olathe, KS at about 5:30pm. We all had our MU gear on and got pretty wasted on very strong, green margaritas waiting to be seated. By the time we set down, we were a bunch of loud, drunk Tiger fans amongst a bunch of people with kU stuff on. They weren't too pleased. We did some M-I-Z, Z-O-U chants, which one white Jayhawk fan answered back with a 'Rock Chalk Jayhawk' chant IN SPANISH. Pretty ghey.

Finally made it home to a friends house, the wife had to have the car pulled over once during the trip to get sick, and screamed and yelled the entire game. Got to admit, with 3 minutes to go, we all thought we were cooked. Great comeback.

The feeling in that place must have been awesome those last 3 minutes as those KU fans watched Denmon catch fire and their guys crap away free throws and waste possessions. I bet you saw the confidence visibly drip off of their faces.

We've got a quick turnaround though. MU plays @OU tonight. I'm not really worried considering what happened when we faced them earlier in the year, but emotions are a crazy thing.

Actually, we left before the game started and, as we proclaimed real loud, 'got the Hell back to Missouri'.

I am just glad that game tonight is not on ESPN Big Monday. That only helps the under dog home team when that happens. They get all hyped up from being on national TV and playing the #4 team in the country. It's better that it is only on ESPNU and at 6pm. Maybe nobody will show up.

Yeah, I am a little worried about tonights game. To come back after an emotionally draining game like that is tough.

Phew, close one! Leading 71-68, MU let OU get a rebound off of an intentionally missed FT and throw up a potential game-tying 3-pointer. Thankfully, it missed.

Remember, OU beat K-State... twice. They also shot 58.3% on 3 pointers on the night, over 20% better than their season average. A couple of those don't fall, the game isn't that close.

Honestly, any conference road victory is a good victory, especially following easily the most emotionally and probably physically draining game of the year less than 48 hours ago.

I don't have ESPNU, so I mostly had to follow via a chatroom, so I got to see all kinds of KU trolls calling us overrated. That has got to be one of the dumbest things you can say about a team that just beat you and won their game. I'm sick of how entitled Kansas fans act. You lost. Get over it.

Gotta say, I love the maturity of these boys. At the end of the game two of them ran over to help up one of the opposing players off the floor. Very cool

Not only that, did you see what that kid did before they helped him up, and they STILL helped him up:
