Well I guess it really was a bit anticlimactic when LBJ chose to go to Miami. Yes he's now in the same category as Art Modell in Cleveland, but what did the Cavs do to keep him? If Dan Gilbert decided to be more aggresive in free agency by trying to get DWade, and Chris Bosch don't you think he would've stayed in Cleveland? If Byron Scott was actually hired before the job was offered to Tom Izzo don't you think he would've stayed? If his own teammate decided to keeps his hands off of HIS MOTHER don't you think he would've stayed?
Yes the fans in Cleveland have a right to be upset but LeBron was in a no win situation from the get go because if he decided to stay put he still would've been in Cleveland. Sorry a bad joke, but if you live in a place that's been called the "Mistake By The Lake" and actually set a river on fire you know something's wrong with your town. I can understand both sides of the argument here but Modell and James left Cleveland for business, not because they weren't loyal to the city or their fans.
