Good read man. On paper this was close to a slam dunk draft, we'll find out more one pads are put on this summer.

I agree that it's hard after a draft not to get excited about the teams prospects, but as time goes on and reality sets in, most of the Chiefs draft picks fall short of being any form of long term solution for the team. I like to look back on previous drafts to see if the players have met their expectations and usually I am saddend to see that most are either not on the team anymore, or are on other teams rosters. Thats why I try to temper my hopes leading up to the season that the odds are that most of the new guys won't be around long.
