I caught a few sessions on NFL and I was caught off-guard by how many big backs there were that ran pretty good 40's. Some of these guys had pretty good stats but were either on bad teams or in less known conferences. Maybe we don't have to blow a 2nd or 3rd to pick up Toby Gerhart. Blount out of Oregon (I know about the "incident") looked good as well as Scott from LSU. Weis was there and was writing a lot in his notebook.
Today will be LBs and DLs.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong. And I'm sure some of you will tell me I am. But I'm not. Peace out, y'all!!

Yup. I was watching it pretty much all weekend...that or the Olympics.

One thing I did decide was that I hope we can sign Moeaki out of Iowa in one of our lower picks. Watched a LOT of him this last year...he reminded me alot of a certain other TE that played in KC. Good blocker, able to get seperation, got yards after the catch, very few dropped balls.

Watson just jumped 11 2 in the broad jump.

Rolando McClain's not working out today.

The combines are fun to watch.

I agree, it can be...after a while it gets a little monotonous.

LB's are getting ready to run their 40's...Angerer is first up. He'd be a nice consolidation prize if we don't get McClain or Weatherspoon.

Trindon Holliday ran a 4.22 forty yard dash. That's pretty fast. The Raiders will probably draft him.

I wish I could watch the combine. I don't get NFL Network. I wouldn't intensely watch it or anything, but it'd be good background noise and stuff while I draw or something.

Of course, it's the interviews that are the real big deal at the combine, but they don't show those now, do they.

NFL.com has a link on the front page that allows you to watch the combine. you and switch between two different areas depending on which drill you want to watch that they are running. It's kinda cool

Did anyone see all the QB/WR stuff? I was looking for Kerry Meier of Kansas in one of those. Even though we moved from QB to WR, I was looking to see him in at least one bunch or the other and never did. Depending on what holes we do fill through the draft and FA, I'd like to see us take a flyer on him with a 5 or at least bring him into camp. He's versitile and has some leadership qualities. While I don't think he'd ever be a QB at this level, or maybe even a standout WR, his size could translate into an H-back. He has pretty good blocking skills and good hands. While not standout speed, still pretty good.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong. And I'm sure some of you will tell me I am. But I'm not. Peace out, y'all!!

Watching the DB's running their position drills...damn, everything Berry does is just fluid and easy...the guy changes direction with incredible ease.

43 1/2 inch vertical jump.

Berry totally whiffed on a pass catch, completely missed it. They were all over that.

Clay Harbor TE looked pretty good compared to other TE's... Be a nice option later in the draft

If we're talking TE in the later rounds, even though we wasted two draft picks to take one in the seventh round last year, Jimmy Graham out of Miami is the guy I'm most interested in.

Converted hoops player with good size, speed, and power.
Moves fluidly, great hands, and is a willing blocker.
