Tebow vs. Berry

yikes! I am still on the Berry Bandwagon, but he got jacked up! It was a pretty close matchup, but I would say that Tebow won. Tebow is a big boy, but it just looks funny to see him put a safety on his heels even just a bit.

I can't help but wonder though, how much of that was Berry holding back cuz he thought Tebow would go into a slide, and didn't want to draw a flag on the play...

I seem to remember another QB that was projected high first round...slipped into the 20's, and now we all know why...cuz he sucked at the next level.
I believe the Brown finally picked him...anyone remember that guy?

LOL, that's where I thought he was going at first too. Just b/c a QB drops doesn't make him a bum. At a certain point you have to consider taking a flyer on certain types of guys. I'm thinking about the 3rd roundish if he was still available then you start to think about it.
Three names that pop into my head that were gambles late are Mario Manningham, Carl Nicks, Maurice Clarett. Obviously it doesn't always work out, but that can be said of all draft picks.

Not by the Browns but he was projected to go first or second overall and he fell into the 20s. Did he slip "cuz" he sucked at the next level?
For every player that slipped and then sucked at the next level I can probably find one that slipped and didn't suck.

nah, Tebow lowered his shoulder and gave no sign of going into a slide. I don't see Berry getting jacked up though. Solid collision, Berry went down because his own guy hit him. Watch until the end of the vid. The stop was made, short of the 1st down by the looks of it.I sure didn't see anything to complain about with Berry
not that it matters, the Buccs probably take him.Their secondary sucks

Most are cautious of him as a pro prospect because of his awful throwing mechanics, incredibly slow wind up and delivery, and lack of experience under center. It's not like he was ever touted as an absolute top tier pro prospect.
I don't personally understand what Vince Young provided that Tebow does not (other than being slightly bigger and faster) as a pro QB prospect.
Actually, Tebow would be more appealing to me because when he talks he doesn't sound like the dumbest motherf**cker in the world like Vince Young does.

You must of never heard Chris Johnson talk. Im also sure NK still has the audio from Jamal Charles. Some people are just not public speakers. Kind of like watching Todd Haley stare off into space and saying ummmm and stuttering all over himself.
Signature made by Bone.

The Chiefs should sign Julius Peppers, Antonio Pierce, Joey Porter, L.T., Darren Sproles, Antrel Rolle, Oshiomogho Atogwe, and Thomas Jones. SUPER BOWL!!!

Inarticulate QBs are not comparable to inarticulate RBs. RBs don't have to call the plays in the huddle.

Not a fan of Vince young, but what he brings to the table are much better mechanics, a much stronger arm, more speed, and more athleticism.
But not much else.
What TeBow offers is that he's a winner in college.
With his physical tools, or more specifically, what he lacks in physiacl tools, can not be overcome by his intangible.
