Anyone watching this game. It's just now starting.

Father to disenfranchised sons, husband to a non football fanatic wife, and I will see my Chiefs in a Super Bowl, in this life or the next.

Well, it's actually turned into a good game, 24-21 Bama with about 6 minutes to go.

I have been watching most of it. I thought Bama had it made once Colt went out.

I think it's a very good possibility that Texas wins that game with McCoy. Bama was very fortunate. However, Bama proved you can win championships strictly by running the ball well and playing good defense. Their QB McElroy was 6-11 for 58 yards.

Yeah, it looked like Texas had all of the early momentum until that McCoy injury. Then Alabama really took advantage of the young QB Gilbert by forcing turnovers that led to, I believe, 14 points. Including that stupid shovel pass INT for a touchdown with 30 seconds left in the first half. With McCoy in there, there might not be that many mistakes.

Yeah you gotta think with McCoy in there, they get a TD instead of a FG one at least one of those first 2 opportunities. Then the shovel pass before halftime doesn't happen. In my opinion Texas probably would have won. But who knows, and it doesn't matter anyway. Bama still earned it and deserved it.

They almost had one before the half. Their WR dropped one in the endzone.

I liked that RB Richardson(Ala), he looks really quick. Maybe in a couple of years we could get him. He was a freshman this year, not sure if he redshirted though.
