Nice read. I agree, and have posted my disgust with Clancy. I've been with those that have thought, that he is only keeping the seat warm for Romeo. I've never really been a fan of Cassel, but also understand, he might hang around another couple years. He has had his moments this season. I'd like to se Guitt. these last couple games. Cassel needs some rest. Seriously, the dude has taken a beating. He might not like it, but he should accept it. He could learn alot, looking at the game, from the sidelines. Yeah, he's been there before, but ALWAYS as the backup. Now, he has been a starter, and should be looking at the game differently. IMO, It can only help.

If we're going to rest someone, I'd like it to be Charles. There's no sense in running our best weapon into the ground in a couple of meaningless games at the end of a wasted season. Castille obviously needs to improve his ballhandling skills, and it wouldn't hurt to give the new kid some reps either. Don't deactivate Charles, but go into the game with him as the #3 and only use him if somehow a win suddenly looks plausible.

I agree Charles has taken some punishment, since he became starter, but he should be able to carry his load. 20 touches shouldn't be too much. I think Williams could be a good contributer. He does have the build to be a back in this league. I have already said Castille, was a great pick up....much like a Hillis, whom I feel is being under-utilized, in Denver.....but what back isn't/hasn't been(seriously)
As I've said, this KC team has some tools, but this Off-season will let us know if this FO is for real, or just reeling us in.

I do have to agree with you here, although I feel it is very possible, and I would love to see him do it for his sake, that Charles could pick up enough rushing yards these last two games to accumulate 1,000 for the season. But that is just me being selfish for Charles, we need to let him rest.
