I started Brees, Thomas, and Vilma in the mod league last night. It was an off-night (for Brees), but Thomas and Vilma did well.

Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

Vilma should have had a pick 6 though. Still, a nice night for you overall. I had Brees in my money league and he kinda screwed me. Coulda gone with Warner, but i took a chance. He still got a little more than the projected so I think I'll be ok. Forte is the one who really fell off for me.

per rotoworld. com:

Quote

Marion Barber (toe, calf) returned to limited practice Friday, but is listed as questionable for Week 15 against the Giants.
Barber is a game-time decision and isn't worth waiting for on Sunday night because of the unfavorable matchup unless you are desperate and also own Tashard Choice for insurance. Barber is likely to split the backfield with Choice if he's active, making the situation risky. The Cowboys don't figure to have much success running the football this weekend.

I've got him. My options are Leon Wasington, and Kevin Faulk. The other starter is DeAngelo Williams. Washington could have a good game against the Bills.....He is dew his tri-weekly breakout.

Back to Thigpen or P.Manning....30th pass D vs KC's incumbant, or Peyton against the leagues worst run D. I have both Bowe and Harrison, starting, reguardless, along with Vincent Jackson, because Breaston is up in the air. To put a lil fire to the pot, the team I'm against is starting Rivers.

Would you start Micheal Vick?.....The other QBs are Orton and Palmer. Right now I'm starting Orton against Oakland. IIRC, Cincy is playing Pittsburgh.

Maurice Jones-Drew
Michael Turner
Chris Johnson
Jamal Charles

Mind you, I can only start three running backs, so think this one out for me.

Mike Sims-Walker @ Jets or Austin Collie vs NE........Both face tough oppositions, plus Collie will be playing 'hurt'. My other 2 starters are Wes Walker & Percy Harvin. My only other option is Nate Burleson.(Manningham has a bye)
This league gives a point/reception, and 1 point/ 10 yards.(nothing is rounded off...it uses decimals)Players don't have to score to rack up some points...maybe I should pick up Lance Long. :jester:(only laughing because it is a thought)

I'm in the Championship, of a PPR league, and with some of my starters likely not playing much, if at all, I'm looking for some suggestions.
QB - Peyton @ Buffalo(will he throw 4 TDs in his limited action)or, Matt Ryan @ Tampa Bay. Also Flacco is an available FA, and Balt. needs a win, against the Faid. Starter as of now is Ryan.

WR(3) - Welker(again, how long will he play)@ Houston, Percy Harvin vs NYG, and Josh Morgan @ STL. They are the starters for now. Bench: Sims - Walker @ Cleveland, Hakeem Nicks @ Minny, and Kenny Britt @ Seattle. Some available FAs: Josh Cribbs vs J'ville, T.O. vs Indy, S.Moss @ SD, Jeremy Maclin @ Dallas, Earl Bennett @ Detroit, Kevin Walter vs NE.

RB(2) - JC @ Denver and Mendenhall @ Miami. Bench: DeAngelo Williams vs NO(he didn't play last week, says may play, but to what extent), Jerome Harrison vs J'ville, Knowson Moreno vs KC, and Fred Jackson vs Indy,

TE,K,&D are pretty much set with Vernon Davis, Longwell, and SF @ STL.

Any thoughts/ suggestions?

Matt Ryan is a good start against Tampa Bay. Sims-Walker is a solid start against the Browns, but if your talking about starting him over Welker thats a no no. I would start him over Morgan though.

Signature made by Bone.

The Chiefs should sign Julius Peppers, Antonio Pierce, Joey Porter, L.T., Darren Sproles, Antrel Rolle, Oshiomogho Atogwe, and Thomas Jones. SUPER BOWL!!!

But how much is Welker gonna play? I say Yes, BUT, in any other game but the last, or last 2, if a team is assured a PO spot, how much PT is he actually gonna get?.......THis is the first time I've had a game go into the last week, and the thought of how much a certain player will play, really has to be taken into a certain considerisation. If you have some 'STUDS' that have already clinched, why would a coach, object them to a whole lotta contact?
IMO, this is a tough game from both sides.....His main QB has been Brees, but he is going with Shaub, mainly because he has something to play for, and Brees might not see the end or the 3rd quarter.
As for Morgan, he has been getting the catches, just not the TD's( and since this is a PPR League....TD's kinda take a back seat)...i.e. 10 catches for 74 yards, gets you 17.4 points.
I'm looking for plyers that will mainly play MOST of a game. Welker might be asked to take a rest...BUT, will his catches be enough. IIRC. he is close to some record, but with the POs already a given, will NE even play Balls to the Wall?

Wish I had a W/R option, but with only 2 RBs, whom should sit? JC or Mendenhall. Scoring for RBs is a follows...1/2 point per carry & 1 point per 10 yrds rushing. 1 point/reception, and 1 point/10 yards. Also considering picking up Royal or Gaffney, since Marshall has been benched.

Thanks for the heads-up Brook, I started Moreno over Mendenhall, and got an extra 8.8 points. On a whim, I also picked up started Gaffney. Talk about a pickup. 45.3 points. Along with Charles' 61.7, I won going away, 251.58 to 165.82. YEAH ME :az: :teeth:

Time for another season of 'missed decisons'. We all make them. Try to play the percentages, but the guy you benched gets twice as many points as the starter, because you thought the match up was better. :banghead:
So to start things off, would like some perspective on whom should get the nod............. Have 3 RB's eligible this week for 2 spots.
J.Best, Detroit....home, VS, STL
Stephen Jackson, STL..@ Detroit
AP, Min...@ NYJ
Right now I'm leaving AP off, just because of the matchup.
