In a delema over starting Avery, WR, STL @ SF or going HOMER with DBowe. OR picking Breaston @ Seattle(he had a good game Mon, nite, but with Boldin back, how many points can be expected, on a regular basis?
Also, if LJ was available, would you grab him?

Avery to the bench for sure. Teams have caught on to his speed and he cannot surprise them.

DBowe gets a lot of targets and is always a steady play. TB is a tough D though, and we won't know for sure how they are going to handle the return of LJ yet.

Breaston is still getting a lot of targets despite the presence of Fitz and Boldin. He's always a threat to take a KO or Punt to the house as well. I'm not sure why, but I feel like Seattle's defense is overrated and they can be had.

General rule of thumb would be use the guy with the best QB, which is Breaston. But if you're really feeling homerish I don't think Bowe would be a bad choice.

Be a homer, go with Bowe. The Saints D is awful...

With the way Piggy's been playing and the Saints pass defense, I'd go Bowe. In fact I am going Bowe in my money league.

Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.

I'm starting both. But, leaning toward benching Royal, and starting Breaston. My other is Randy Moss.

I've got Andre Johnson starting opposite whoever I pick. Benching him ever is a bad move. I've done it before, and he always hangs 160 yards on somebody when I do. I'm leaving Jennings on the bench against Chicago.

Kurt Warner vs. Seattle's 31st ranked pass D

or

Drew Brees vs. KC's banged up D

I am starting Fitz at WR1 for what it's worth. And my opponent is starting Colston.

I like Warner better. However, starting Brees could counteract your opponent if Colston has a big day. I dunno. Personally I'd go with Warner, but you could go either way on this one.

I have a bit of an issue with my team this week.

My 2 RBs
Chris Johnson @ JAX
Maurice Jones-Drew vs. TEN

Flex Option: Deuce McAllister vs. KC

Now my two main worries are MJD vs. the stout TEN run D, and the amount of carries Deuce will get against the Chiefs.

On the bench, I have:
WR Lance Moore @ KC
WR Kevin Walter @ IND
WR Kevin Curtis @ CIN

Now my question to my fellow members is should I start Deuce at the W/R spot, or look towards one of my 3 bench WRs for the spot.

And if I should keep McAllister, should I put him in one of the two designated RB spots, and allow one of my bench WRs to take Jones-Drew' spot at the flex.

Forte made the Titans his bitch last week, so don't sweat it. MJD will get his.

Who in the hell are your other recievers to have to consider Moss for your flex play?

The Chiefs should sign Julius Peppers, Antonio Pierce, Joey Porter, L.T., Darren Sproles, Antrel Rolle, Oshiomogho Atogwe, and Thomas Jones. SUPER BOWL!!!

DBowe and I took a flyer on Brandon Jones of TN against DET(he did almost have a TD) :banghead:
I likes Bowe against OAK, better than Moss against PITT. My RB's were Chris Johnson, TN :az: and Tim Hightower(dammit)
I've got Favre and Keller going also, along with Pittsburgh's D.
Other flex choices are D. Avery and D. Royal, but leaning toward a RB.......so.............McFadden or Washington.......decisions decisions.

I'm in the semis of the only fantasy football league I'm in, and I was hoping some would be able to give me recommendations on who to start at the WR & RB spots:

Wide Receivers
Larry Fitzgerald vs. MIN
DeSean Jackson vs. CLE
Santana Moss @ CIN
Lance Moore @ CHI
Kevin Walter vs. TEN

Running Backs
Chris Johnson @ HOU
Maurice Jones-Drew @ GB
Reggie Bush @ CHI
Pierre Thomas @ CHI

I can either go with 4 WRs & 2 RBs or 3 WRs & 3 RBs.

Currently, I have Fitzgerald, Moss, & Jackson at WR & Johnson, MJD, & Bush at RB.

However, the only ones I'm confident about right now are Fitz @ WR & Johnson @ RB. Santana Moss hasn't seen the endzone in plenty of games, and Jackson was held catchless last weekend. As well, I have two decent WRs in Moore & Walter to put in for either Jackson or Moss.

As for the RBs, I'm kinda okay with MJD, as GB's run defense is less than stellar, but I'm unsure on who to choose between Bush & Thomas. These past few weeks, Thomas has been finding the endzone at will, while Bush is still getting back into the rotation.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

2nd & 8...........those would be the players I'd play, only other option, imo, would be adding Moore and dropping Bush, but Reggie when healthy, is a must.

Peyton Manning vs DET OR Thigpen vs SD. I've got Peyton starting for now, but with DET run D, I see them running more. But, Peyton still is INDY.

I have a huge dilemma on my hands. I have Brees/Warner at QB and Chicago has been my mainstay on D. They are playing NO this week so that kind of messes 1 of the 2 up between Brees and Chicago. I also just picked up Indy's D vs. Detroit this week just in case. Who should I start?

Brees vs. Chicago
Warner vs. Minnesota
Chicago vs. New Orleans (Brees, Bush, Colston, Moore)
Indy vs. Detroit (CalJo)

To boot, I also have CalJo on my roster but I could always sit him if I want to start Indy's D. I'd still be rolling with some combo of Fitz/TO/Bowe.

So what combination should I use this weekend in the semis?

Damn, I am truly kicking myself for not starting Pierre Thomas now. :banghead:

Str8 Shooter, I would say you're in quite the predicament. You could play it safe with Peyton, but you have to keep in mind the Chargers are 30th in pass defense as well. I would say if you feel comfortable with the rest of your positions, maybe go out on a limb and start TT.

I just got to see your post now, BCF, and I see that your choices must've already been made considering one from each category is involved in the NO/CHI game. What did you go with?

I went with Brees. And tentatively Philly's D b/c some idiot in my league accidentally dropped them. (he's in the playoffs). I also had Forte starting in my flex and him getting hurt kind of killed me. He fell 6 points short of the projection. If only Orton would have flicked him that ball at the goal line instead of running it himself.

I did do well in the mods league though. Colston put up over 14 and double his projection while Tillman held steady with 8.
