It seems like we are willing to spend on WR's but not on O-line help....I gotta hope that as teams cut rosters down we can find some help.

I pretty much disagree with almost everything written in that article, with the exception of your opinion on Goff.

Good article Nathan, although I have some thoughts...
First and foremost, I really do think that it is counter productive to continue the discussion that Herb Taylor should be playing at right tackle. He is a suitable backup left tackle, and frankly I think we need to put the players in the position to be successful.
I don't care what anyone says, Barry Richardson did NOT HAVE the horror start that everyone keeps making it out to be. This is still the preseason, and I see no real reason to switch Herb Taylor back to right tackle and have him start all over for the second time in a row. Allow him to continue getting reps at LT and allow him to continue to improve. You need a good backup LT, and Herb Taylor fits that role.
Barry Richardson is THE EXACT same prototype that Brandon Albert is. I have a picture of them leaving practice together from a couple of weeks ago, and again, They look like the same player. Our coach, Todd Haley has spoken very well of Richardson, and I think he will continue to improve as the preseason continues. He has earned the right to compete for the starting RT position, and I expect him to be even better next week.
Mike Goff was the guy that got blown up alot in this last game. No doubt. He has to play better than that. I think Mike, and Todd Haley will both have a discussion about this at the beginning of the week.

I guess I'd better revise my opinion on Goff.

Was Richardson the one that got flat out pancaked in the first half? I'd have to go back and check the tape, but it was fairly embarrassing, no matter who it was.

Barry means in terms of stature/body type, and he's right on that count. As players, however, they're nowhere close. It's the difference between shooting a bullet and throwing it.

I don't see it. Richardson is taller and heavier. I can usually spot him just because of that.

I gotta find the picture. I'm sorry I haven't gotten to this yet, but we took over 1000 pics at camp, and I have to find it. This pic has them both walking next to eachother. They look like twins, and I fully believe that Richardson is going to develop into a suitable RT. ( for now ) Again, Pioli's mama didn't raise no fool.
