NBA's David Stern must have Kansas City on his mind

NBA boss David Stern was in Oklahoma City last week to welcome the Thunder into the NBA.
But while meeting with the media prior to the Thunder's first game, Stern twice referred to Oklahoma City as "Kansas City."
Hmmm.
Stern also indicated that any city wanting an NBA team was more likely to get one through relocation rather than expansion.
Hey, we'll take it anyway we can get it. And it's nice to know we're still on Stern's mind.

Would've been pretty damn nice to see Chris Paul in a Kansas City jersey for all the people in KC.

I think if you're talking about teams that could be moved, you have to talk about Minnesota.

Indeed... I'm curious as to how hard KC has been trying to get back into basketball. I do think if their was a losing team on the court there wouldnt be a very strong fan base, but who knows
