I think he should. As time as went on and we are farther from the brief time Bo spent here, he has become one of the all time most famous Royals. What made me think of this was when I was in the Royals merchandise shop tonight and the Bo Jackson stuff almost rivals the Brett and White gear. My son asked if Bo Jackson was in the Hall of Fame and that's what made me think about it.
It is the Hall of Fame and not the Hall of Stats. He is probably the most famous Royal after George Brett and he did some pretty amazing things when he was here. AL All Star MVP. His first major league home run is still the longest hit home run in Royals/Kauffman Stadium history at 475 feet. The throw to get Harold Reynolds out at home from the wall in the Kingdome. The time he doubled up Carlton Fisk on a throw back to first after making a catch in left field. A throw that I swear 85,000 people have claimed to be at that game when it happened. And many more that I cannot recall.
I believe he should be inducted in, why not, after all that we have already inducted, who's left? I think a good case could be made that he should be in.
Should Bo Jackson be in the Royals HOF?

My name is Maximus Decimus Warthog, member of HomeoftheChiefs.com, former season ticket holder of the lower level , loyal servant to the true coach, Martimus Schottenheimer. Father to disenfranchised sons, husband to a non football fanatic wife, and I will see my Chiefs in a Super Bowl, in this life or the next.

expand.
For a few years there he was the face of the Royals organization, he was more popular than George Brett, one of the most FAMOUS Royals of all time. Note the capitalized, bolded word.

The answer is yes. He's possibly the greatest natural athlete of our time, and he was an integral part of one of the last watchable Royals teams before this year. He has no notable character flaws and was the face of the franchise despite playing alongside George Brett and Brett Saberhagen.
