A prime example the Draft should be removed from New York City

I have for a long time advocated that the draft should be taken out of New York and away from the idiot Jets and Giants fans. Why do they get preferential treatment?
Well, what just happened should be a prime example why they need to move it. I guy, a regular Joe Pittsburgh Steeler fan, won the right to go to New York and announce his teams third round pick. He seemed to take it seriously and walked the pick to the podium with his Steeler jersey on. The crowd, mostly Jets fans it appeared, jeered and booed him so loud that you could barely hear what he was saying. And the press, so adoring of the New York fans that show up, go nuts over them. Rich Eisen just giggled when they did that to the poor guy and said something like, 'here's so and so that won the right to deliver his teams picks and the Jets fans boo him lustily', or something like that. just like it was a big joke and they are expected to act like asses.
Move the draft around to different cities. Either go to the city of the Super Bowl city where there will be ravenous fans, or the city of the first pick, or just rotate around to different NFL cities.

I like the idea of them putting it in the city with the 1st pick...

It's embarrassing. I feel embarrassed for the Jets and the NFL when they have the draft. he Jets fans are a bunch of ass wipes.

Keep it in NY, just have everyone entering the building take a real quick aptitude test.

Jets fans will fail 100% of the time, Giants fans about 50%.

I say move it around, if it is Vegas, you still have fans that are closer every year than others. If it is the first, well a HG said who wants it in Detroit or Oakland.

I like the Vegas idea, but I think there is too much potential trouble for our young new draftees to get into there. I lived out for there for two years, in my early 20s. Needless to say I came crawling home.

No more trouble here than in other places. LV and KC are not that different, just in KC the trouble's a wee bit harder to find.
I say Vegas while I live here!
