So the best sport in the US is about to start over the next few weeks... college basketball. Most say the talent is a little down due to all the freshman leaving after last year, but I will be honest IM READY FOR SOME COLLEGE BASKETBALL. It should be a great year!

Pre-season Top 5 looks like this (AP Poll)
1. North Carolina
2. UConn
3. Louisville
4. UCLA
5. Pittsburgh

Big 12 Teams in the top 25
7. Texas
12. Oklahoma
24. Kansas

had the first ranked match of the year with 2 ranked teams playing. #21 Davidson lost to #14 Oklahoma in what appeared to be a blowout, but with some Stephen Curry shooting they lost 78-82. Curry put up the game high and a career high at 44 points. It was hell of a game and showed some promise of some good basketball throughout the year

Curry is not human. People can say whatever they want about his size, but this kid is a pro. He isn't a one dimensional shooter like Redick was at Duke. He is a scorer in, out and anywhere. This kid can flat out ball.

So last week's #1 UNC has back to back losses to start ACC play. Wake Forest could be a team to deal with deep into March. It will be interesting down the stretch

Well, for some reason the Bookie does not recognize College Basketball, but if it did, I'd take K State tonight to cover, maybe not to win, but I think they will cover.

My name is Maximus Decimus Warthog, member of HomeoftheChiefs.com, former season ticket holder of the lower level , loyal servant to the true coach, Martimus Schottenheimer. Father to disenfranchised sons, husband to a non football fanatic wife, and I will see my Chiefs in a Super Bowl, in this life or the next.

He is and it was a great game. Give UConn credit for hanging in there minus Dyson and for most of the game Thabeet. The Big East is just unreal this season.

A Number 1 Bites the Dust.. :dancing:
Seems being ranked 1 is a curse. Could this be the year a 16 beats a 1, and it be the #1........I live for the Madness.
