Not a joke. Someone actually got together, made a list of all time NFL tight ends, and in their infinite wisdom declared Tony as the 8th best of all time. All those records at tight end meant nothing Tony.

Assholes. Tony G has to be in the top 5 at least.

The show was made a year or two before TG had all the records. I'm sure if it was made now he'd be a definite top 3 if not #1.

That doesn't even matter, they knew he was going to break those records regardless. The fact he isn't #1 or #2 simply put means the NFL network have their collective heads up their asses. The NFL Network can eat a dick on that one

You can not expect them to make a show showing the best all time on what they "Think" is gonna happen. When they made the show they went by the actual facts, not predictions. What if Tony had an accident like Derrick Thomas. Then he wouldnt have set the records. Whats needed here is for the list to be revamped and the show brought up to date. You cant blame an older show.

They had the top ten cornerback tandums and Albert Lewis/Kevin Ross was at #9. That was pretty cool.

I meant that particular episode.

Anyways, my dad came up with a pretty good theory.

He thinks maybe the reason TG is ranked so low is because he is still playing. I don't remember how he said it, but it was pretty convincing really.

The tandem of Willie Lanier, Bobby Bell, and Jim Lynch were ranked somewhere around the sixth best LB group of all time.
