Well, according to all outlets(Memphis and Lexington), the Calipari 'rumor', is all but dotted and signed. One UK message board is also saying something about Anderson to Memphis. Cal wants UM to be "happy".

Is that why he's taking two of his current players with him and at least two of his blue chip recruits?

I'm sorry. Memphis is a fine school, but as far as conferences, playing in the Big 12 far outweighs playing in Conference USA!.

He has 2 of the top 5 recruits commited to Memphis... I think only 1 is officially signed, the other is a verbal. So Memphis would have to let the one that signed out. Also John Wall is still another option for Cal at Kentucky... Think of this lineup

F DeMarcus Cousins (Fr. #2 Nation commited to Memphis)
F Patrick Patterson (So.) 17.9 PPG last Season
G Xavier Taylor (Fr. #5 Nation commited to Memphis)
G Jodie Meeks (Jr.) 23.7 PPG last season
G John Wall (Fr.) #1 Nation undecided, but heavy on Calipari

Kentucky could get on the map again fast...

Cal is also reported to be trying to get Tony Barbee, his ex-assistant, current UTEP coach, to come to Memphis. Per The Commercial Appeal, Calipari is meeting with UM Boosters, the intent is unknown.

Mizzou better drop bank to keep Anderson... Anderson would be a sick coach with the recruits he could land at Memphis

In the same way the SEC far greater than CUSA. Would be a step up for Cal. Then when he wins 27+ games, they can't say it was because he was in an infearior(sp) conference. I'd say the Big 12 has been better than the SEC the past couple years, but hopefully this gap will get closer.

Meeks will be a senior, if he stays, and Patterson a Junior. But other than that, yeah, that's a nice looking line-up. Add 6th man Darius Miller, and then UK baring departures, could go another 6 deep.
Kentucky also has LOI signed with Daniel Orton, 7' C, from Oklahoma, and 6'-6" SG/SF Jon Hood, Kentucky's Mr. Basketball. Orton's dad has said they will talk to Calipari, if/when he becomes HC.

I knew Bama and Georgia would be interested, luckily Bama already got VCU's old coach.

Does Georgia even have any tradition? I wouldnt understand the move from Mizzou to Georgia

Oh well, if Anderson leaves, we'll just get Bill Self to come over to Missouri where he's always wanted to be.

Not too much tradition, as a basketball school. Their bread and butter is football. Big Time tradition. IF, he were to move, it would be tougher for him to win, and or be embraced, at Georgia, than Mizzou, and the only reason I see is.....2 mil > 1.2 mil.
