Cannot believe there isnt a thread for this one yet. Probably an instant classic. 6 OT's and Syracuse takes down what probably would have been a number 1 seed in the NCAA tournament 127 to 117
Syracuse vs Uconn

I watched it from when the Mizzou game ended, when there was about 1 minute to go in the game, until the end of the 6th overtime. I don't remember the time, but I thought it ended about 12:30am or somewhere around there.
It was really weird when they had a bunch of players foul out and Syracuse had that one walk-on player on the court for about 2 OTs. He had played like 18 minutes all season.

I know you look at 6 OTs and think greatest ever, but long doesn't always mean great. To put it in perspective the teams were 16-58 on threes and 64-93 from the line.

Yeah man, but fatigue starts to set in after the first overtime. The determinaton and grit all of the players showed in that game was simply amazing. When Thabeet fouled out I knew Cuse would end up winning. AMAZING game. And, btw, the missed FTs were almost all on the UConn side. Syracuse was something like 21-23 in the overtime session.

Did you see the game though? Those guys were obviously wiped out. It almost made me exhausted watching on TV. You could tell they were struggling and the shooting did become erratic as the OTs piled up. Also, as the players fouled out, I believe there were 7 that fouled out, they lost the best shooters.

8 people fouled out, 4 from each team
What do you guys think the Cuse will look like against West Virginia tonight?

Last night's game was probably the best thing to happen to West Virginia.
