GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Tim Tebow is coming back. The Florida quarterback told a crowd celebrating the school's latest national title that he wants to lead the Gators to another championship.
Tebow thrilled the crowd by saying: "Oh, by the way let's do it again. I'm coming back."
In 2007, Tebow became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy. In the Gators' 24-14 win over Oklahoma on Thursday night, Tebow completed 18 of 30 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 109 yards.

The Gators have a lot of talent coming back and with Tebow will be in the mix to repeat as champs. But what this comes down to is the advisory committee must have reported to Tebow he would not be a high pick. No matter where you stand on the "Tebow as a pro" arguement the better question is if his stock will be any higher next year. Next season once again the "experts" will talk about how he cannot be successful in the NFL as a quarterback because he doesn't take the ball from under center the way instant NFL stars like Matt Leinart (oops) did.
I admire the move, but I wish he would declare no matter what the scouts tell him since he's unlikely to improve his postion much in the next year.

I figured he wouldn't go. He wasn't going to be a 1st rounder anyways, and people forget just how valuable it could be to him to build up his legendary college career more. Imagine if he did win another Heisman or National Championship. His name could sell anything to Floridians. That might matter if he doesn't pan out in the pros like many think.
