Chiefs 2018 Playoffs: Chiefs vs Colts
#51

Indy was a hot upset pick, but I saw through it all along.  I wasn't afraid of the Colts.  I thought KC's pass rush could force Luck into mistakes and bad throws.  I expected a strip sack or two in spite of their quality OL.

I expected their tampa 2 defense would have no answer for Mahomes, but it turns out it was the running game they had no answer for.  Good job on Andy and the team closing this game out with strong running. Even though they weren't scoring, they were killing the clock with first downs in the 2nd half which is good enough when you're up 3 scores.  Too bad about the fumble.  KC woulda scored on that drive too.

KC's defense played OUTSTANDING.  Where the hell has THIS been all season?

You know who else I'm not afraid of?

The Patriots.

We're going to start naming the kicker.

He was Lin Elliott, and by naming him, honoring him, and remembering that it really wasn't his fault... the curse shall be broken.

Nice read, and if you go to 610 sports I'm sure they'll have the interview this morning up soon.

Note: He was a Texas Tech guy too.

CURSE BROKEN.

That miss by vinatieri. Could it all be?

I think by confronting the curse, we transferred it to the Colts.  Which is awesome.

I maybe definitely drunkenly yelled "now it's YOU who are the CHIEFS, COLTS!" repeatedly in a bar last night, to the confusion of many, but the amusement of a previously tortured few.

Tye, that NFL.com article where they are damn near all calling for the Colts to win... delicious!

Unrelated, I don't blame Colts fans for thinking the coaches "abandoned" the run, but the real truth is they didn't have any opportunity to run. The got snuffed out on some key early runs and how many times can you run when you only have the ball for 12 plays going into the final 2 minutes of the 1st half and are already down multiple scores?
