And it's too much to ask for the defense and offense to be good in the same year, isn't it?
The sad part is, this was supposed to be that year.

Pure blind luck... it's been protecting children from fire for centuries!

I think maybe we really miss that Eric Berry dude.

I feel like I've been saying this for years now, but if we could just ever have Berry and Houston healthy for a season at the same time we might actually be amazing on defense.

Berry doesn't solve all our defensive problems.

Yeah, but I feel like being able to have more than three guys playing deep would be great.  Two safeties.  I would like to see both safeties ready to pass defend.

He'd solve enough that we'd still be undefeated. I can almost guarantee that.

Lost in the shuffle over the last couple weeks is the fact that Kareem Hunt is still amazing. He turned in two of his most pedestrian performances of the season, but they still tallied up to over 100 total yards (110 yards and 117 yards).

But what made me bring this up is a crazy, albeit subjective, stat.

https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2017/10/2...ast-season

According to PFF Hunt has already broken more tackles (37) on far less carries (124) than Zeke Elliot did all last season (36 on 322). That's a broken tackle every 3.35 carries compared to one every 8.94 carries.

It's safe to say at the very least that Hunt's early success is less a product of the line than Zeke's.

I think this game will be a curb stomping. Chiefs take it to em early and often. 31-7 Chiefs.
