You need to see winter soldier and Infity War. But if you have seen all of them it is much more satisfying and complete

That is certainly... a choice. I don't know who I would've cast, but that name would not have occured to me.

Weird. Also, let the record show I prefer the nickname Battinson to Patman.

Yeah, I though the same thing.  "The fucking twilight guy?"

Then again I thought casting Ledger as the Joker was stupid.  All he did was chick flick bullshit and gay cowboys.  I perceived that casting pretty much the same.

Of course, Nolan is a genius so.....  Who's writing and directing this?

Matt Reeves.  The recent Planet of the Apes trilogy (the Cesar one).  Before that, 28 Weeks Later, which is a pretty dope sequel to a pretty good first movie that is also almost completely unrelated.  So I would call it a solid record, if not mind-blowing.

As for Pattinson... I'm gonna withhold judgment for the reasons you mentioned and more.  I also remember when Michael Keaton was cast and people fllipped out.  And he was an awesome Bruce Wayne/Batman.

But still.  The Twilight guy?

I've had multiple people tell me that after twilight he has done a bunch of small indy movies and is apparently a good actor. But I had the same gut reaction when I saw the news.

Can you imagine if twitter and the internet existed when Mr. Mom was cast as Batman?  I mean I may be alone, but I had pretty good reason to think the guy behind Beetlejuice could make a good batman movie.  Even as a kid.

Look, I'm skeptical.  I'll say that.  I don't see it, but I'll give it a chance.

The folks in charge of the DC universe don't have much credibility with the casting imo.  It's not Burton.  It's not Nolan.  Two great directors with very specific visions of what they wanted.  Between Eisenburg as Luthor (total failure) Leto as the Joker (awful) and Batfleck there's not exactly the same confidence that my skepticism will be proven wrong in this case.  Every eyebrow raising cast job post-Nolan has been even WORSE than I anticipate.  So yeah.  This one makes me nervous.
