Barryskoolaid Video Blogs
#1
Hey everyone!!

I am here in River Falls, WI having a blast. I am currently working on the first episode but have run into a couple of technical issues that I am trying to resolve as I type this. The first practice this morning was really nice.

I am doing my best to resolve the issue here shortly, so with any luck the first episode will be up soon. Bear with me, this is hard work, Plus Ty kept me up till 2 in the morning partying in the local pubs. Woke up this morning with quite the hangover let me tell you. I have 39 video's already shot. Lots to edit, lots to go through. Rest assured, I'm working my ass off so hopefully it wont be too much longer.

Ok, I will give you a little sugar while you wait. This morning, I met Larry Johnson. It made my day when he told me that he reads BarrysKOOLAID. I almost pissed myself when he said he knew about the blog. I was very, very honored, and Larry is right on track folks. His attitude this morning was awesome. He took his pads off and put them on a small kid for pics, and the crowd just applauded him. It was awesome.

I will be posting the video's in this thread, so stay tuned. LOTS to talk about folks. Talk soon.

Ok computer techs, I need some help. I am really struggling here.

Apparently, I have to convert my video files from the camera. They are .VOB files. For me to convert them to MPEG, or WMA files, I had to purchase a converter for $39 dollars over the internet. That converter is running right now, and is telling me it's going to take 14 hours to convert. Worst 39 bucks I have ever spent. I am furious with this, because as soon as I have the video done, it wont take long to edit. I just cant believe this. I have been sitting here at this small bar for 4 hours. Practice is at 430, so I will have to shut down soon.

ANYONE WHO CAN HELP, please hit me up on my email. Barry.Peraino@gmail.com

I need to quickest, cheapest way to convert a .VOB file to Windows media format. Any help is appreciated. If you want to get me on the phone, email me, and I will text my number to you. I really need help. Thanks.

Barry

use MPEG Streamclip. It's free! http://www.squared5.com

And Barry, please don't tell me you are going to edit that in the shitpile known as Windows Movie Maker? That could be the only reason I'd think of for using WMV.

He knows I wasn't kidding, right?

And just in case he shows up, I will say this.

I will root for him to succeed as long as he's a Chief, and celebrate the day he is no longer a Chief.
