The worst part is this means the Chiefs won't get a comp pick because of how long he waited to sign.

I want to believe this is incidental because he wanted to wait until after the draft to see where he'd have the best opportunity, but as bitter as he was about not getting an offer from the Chiefs, it might be intentional.
Before we signed Reid and our draft, it bothered me that we didn't even offer a contract.  After the off season moves, I am not concerned.  We are younger and faster at the position now.

Former Chiefs UDFA RB Darrel Williams signed with the Arizona Cardinals.

1 year $2.1M deal.

LDT has "paused" his career again for his medical career. Good luck and I am glad we traded him versus wasting a roster spot on him.

The Cleveland Browns have to be who they are! They have had horrible QBs for so long and they draft Baker and he takes them to the playoffs and plays for that disaster of a franchise hurt often. Now they trade their first round pick for a 5th round pick because they gave up THREE first round picks for Watson who is an absolute PR nightmare!

Looking at all of the talent on the Browns is sad because their mismanagement will get them nowhere! Can we offer a second round pick for Myles Garret???? lol

Yeah, as competent of a QB as Watson looked like when last we knew him, who knows how he's going to handle the increased scrutiny and how quickly he knocks off the rust,

I think I agree with a couple of the assessments the Browns made. They've already pretty well maxed out Mayfield's likely potential, which is decent, but not truly first class. Was Watson better when he was last playing? Yes. Was it enough better to justify this trade? Actually, yes imo... at least until you consider all the other question marks and character issues. Both players actually looked better earlier in their careers than they have recently.

So, if you're Cleveland's front office just hire a high priced escort or two to play masseuse for Watson and maybe that'll fix some of his potential problems? Or make them worse? I don't know.

I guess the pending suspension aka arbitration decision will show if this was a good trade or not.  Watson is much better than Baker, I don't know if he was worth all of the picks.

Not playing for over a year could be good or bad.  It gave his body a rest; however, he hasn't played at game speed in so long his decisions could be greatly affected.

Only time will tell.
